Annie L. Mixon Davis-Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 11 am, at the F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., for Mrs. Annie L. Mixon Davis, 72, Youngstown, who departed this life on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center.
 
Mrs. Davis, who was affectionately known as "Granny" was born December 20, 1944, in Coahoma, Mississippi, a daughter of J. D. & Mary M. Thomas Mixon. Mrs. Davis worked for Steel City Corp, retiring in 2004.She  loved fishing, cooking delicious meals, and spending most of her time with her beloved children, grands, and other family members. She is survived by her husband; Freddie Davis, whom she married July, 1978, of Youngstown, children; Mary Doakey, of El Paso, TX., Michelle Mixon, Anthony, both of Youngstown, Coye and Anthony Tellington, all of Youngstown, Blanchie Davis, and Linda Bill, both Of Goldboro, NC., Tysha Heath, Houston,TX, siblings; Gracie (Lee) Moore of Youngstown, and J.C. (Juanita) Mixon, of Warren, a numerous of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.


She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter; Tawanda Kennedy, fons; Lawrence Tellington, and Fred Davis Jr., siblings; Katherine Mixon, John and J. D. Mixon, and one grandson; Darius Mixon.
