Arthur Curtis Beck

Arthur C. Beck-Funeral service will be 12 noon Friday, at Rising Star Baptist Church, for Mr. Arthur Curtis Beck, 56, Youngstown, departed this life on Tuesday, September 6, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Beck was born March 16, 1962 in Youngstown, a son of Mack and Lorene Jenkins Beck. He was a graduate of South High School, he worked for Youngstown Water Treatment Plant as a Flow Control Technician, was a member of the church,  was inducted into the Ebony Lifeline Hall of Fame for football, coached for  Rising Star's Young Disciples football team and was Army veteran. He leaves his children; Ashlee and Brittanee Beck, Cheryl Wilson, Jermaine (Mandy) Crowder, siblings; Gwendolyn (Frank) Feagins, Charles Beck, Lynda Bowman, Barbara Culp, and Gregory (Rhonda) Beck, 12 grandchildren, and  5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife the former Lina Fox Beck, a daughter; Christina Beck, a granddaughter, Neveah Crowder, and 2 brothers Mack "Fella" Beck III, and Willie "Shavy" Jenkins. Friends may call from 10 am to 11 am Friday at the church.
