Beatrice B. Linton-Brewer-.Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday, at the New Round Up Community Church of God, 1303 Brighton St., for Mrs.Beatrice B. Linton-Brewer, 71, departed this life on Friday, September 21, 2018, in St.Elizabeth Health Center.

Mrs. Linton-Brewer was born Sept. 21, 1947, in Bridgeport, Conn., a daughter of Harry J. and Anna Mae Dickerson Linton. She was a homemaker, a prayer warrior, was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame, trained the youth to bowl, taught The Jr. Bowlers, bowled a 299, and a perfect 300. She leaves her husband, Charles Brewer, whom she married in 1967; her children, Vennie (Ricky) Hooks, Roxanne (Kevin) Scroggins, Charles Brewer Jr., and Judy Brewer; siblings Harriet Linton-Sharp, Eleanor (Mike) Fleming, and Emery Linton Sr.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandmother, by whom she was reared, Blanche Beatrice Belton and a brother William Linton. Friends may call from 9 am to 10 am at the church.
