Blanche Woods

Blanche Woods-Memorial service will be  12 noon, Monday, November 6, 2017, at  the F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., for Mrs. Blanche Woods, 88, Youngstown, who  departed this life at her residence. 

Mrs. Woods was born April 13, 1929 in Youngstown, a daughter of Anderson and Fannie Mae Atwater Jones. She was a homemaker rearing 8 children. She was a member of Beulah United Holiness Church. Her husband Pompie Lucas Woods whom she married  1965, expired  in 1977. She leaves her children; Linda (Robert) Barnett, Christine Wright, Fran Brimmer, Kenny (Vivian) Dixon, Arnold (Leslie) Dixon, Gary (Keisha) Woods, Gerald Woods,a sister Deborah McCright, ,25 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Stanley Dixon, siblings, Rebecca Brimmer, Nathaniel and Samuel Jones, Veila Sly, Leila Wright, and a nephew, Jerry Outlaw whom was like a brother. Friends may call from 11 am to 12 noon at the Funeral home.
