Charles Leo Richey Sr

Charles L. Richey Sr-Private services were held for Mr. Charles L. Richey Sr., 77, Girard, who departed this life peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2017.

Mr. Richey was born August 24, 1940, in Youngstown, a son of James and Allie Williams Richey. He attended South high School. He was employed at LTV Steel and WCI Steel as a foreman for 36 years. He enjoyed watching old western movies, traveling, playing solitary, going to casinos, working on cars, and spending time with family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, the former Anna Martin, whom he married October 27, 1962, a son; Charles L. Richey Jr., of Youngstown, 2 daughters; Tawanna L. Richey of Atlanta, GA., Sawanna L. Richey (Chiesa Pierce) of Warren; sisters; Angela Richards of Atlanta, GA., Lorrain Richards of Youngstown, stepsister, Anna Lee Gilford of Pennsylvania, brothers, Alfred (Sherry) Richards and Winston Richards both of Atlanta, Larry Richards of Chicago and Willie Richards of Youngstown; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by is parents, a son Patrick L. Richey, siblings; Evelyn Morrison, Bonesse Patton, Mattie Hawkins, Dorothy Richey, Lawrence Richey, James "Sonny" Richey, Joseph Richey, Thomas Richey, Velma Richards, Melinda Richards, and Robert Richards.
