Darrell N. Williams Harris – There will be a celebration of life memorial musical tribute at 5 p.m. on Saturday, at the Philips Chapel CME Church, 718 Albert St., for Mr. Darrell Nathaniel Williams Harris, 58, who departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018.
Mr. Williams was born Jan. 29, 1960, in Youngstown, and was reared by his foster parents Rev. Wilber and Goletia Harris.
He was a musician at the church, played for other local churches and was a member of the gospel group called “Truth.”
He leaves his sisters, Anna (Reginald) Robinson and Jackie Harris and his long time childhood friends, Machelle Rhodes and Timmy Cousin.
He was preceded in death by his birth parents and foster parents.
