Dionne Tharpe Eldridge

Dionne Tharpe Eldridge-Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 12 noon, at the F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., for Mrs. Dionne Tharpe Eldridge, 62, Youngstown, who departed this life on Sunday, November 27, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Health Center Boardman Campus, Mrs. Eldridge was born on April 18, 1954, to Ida Mae and the late Thad Tharpe. Residing on the south side on Carroll Street. She was affectionately known as Mrs. "El", she graduated from Chaney High School. Dionne was a member of Christian Life Church and supported the Paccesetters Outreach Ministry. Dionne was a cherished mother and grandmother, loving daugther and sister. Dionne was a Licensed Cosmetologist, graduating from Lewis Wineberger in the late 80's. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan, dressing head to toe in her Steeler gear. Dionne was a thoughtful woman, family meant everything to her, havin a close sister bond with her first female cousins, sharing birthday and Christmas gift ex-change parties and spending time with her grandchildren was dear to her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Dionne leaves to celebrate her life and legacy; her mother Ida Mae Tharpe of boardman, a son Duane Eldridge, a daughter; De Anne Eldridge both of Youngstown, step-daughter; Charmissa Crum of Cleveland, Ohio, siblings; Phillip (Esther) Tharpe, Thad Tharpe III,  and Irish Bush Cottle all of Youngstown, 6 grandchildren, and a host of other Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.  Friends may call from 11 am to 12 noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.
