Efrem "Kenny" Zimbalist Hubbard

Efrem Z. Hubbard-Funeral service will be 1:30 pm, today, at the F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc, for Mr. Efrem Z. "Kenny" Hubbard, 57, who passed away suddenly on Monday, June 11, 2018 in St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Mr. Hubbard was born May 25, 1961, in Montgomery, AL., a son of Jimmie Hubbard Jr. and Magnolia (Harris) Randolph. He attended East High School and later received his high school diploma from Pheonix University. He worked his first job at Sparkle Market on Mahoning Ave, and later becoming a security guard. He started doing detective work and soon helped lay the foundation for Tri State Investigations Co., working for over 30 years. He loved fishing, was an avid Oakland Raiders fan, being with his family, grandchildren and his dog "Angel", he loved helping others and the best camp fire story teller ever! LOL!
 He leaves his significant other, Jackie Ramirez, his children; Kenneth Hubbard,  Janet Hubbard Johnson, Bobby Green,  Arkela Belton, Richie, Elizabeth, and Luis Ramirez, all whom he reared, siblings; Stephanie (Keith) Bryant, Darrell Hubbert, Sabrina Hunter-Williams, Tracey Hunter-Thompkins, and Brian Hunter, special friends, Russel Hawkins, Louie Fossessca, Clarence Burley and Keith Miller, special cousin; Cornelius Hubbard Sr.,  the mother of his children; Vera Hubbard, sister-i-law; Gail Hubbert, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father; Benjamin Randolph, a brother; Dennis Hubbert Sr., grandparents; Mrs. Carrie Sears , Jim Hubbard and a uncle Dennis Cook. Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 pm today at the funeral home.
