Eloise Rutledge

On Thursday January 18,2024, Eloise McGary- Rutledge age 61 of Youngstown, Ohio passed away due to a long term illness at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Hospital.

She was born in Salem Ohio on December 25, 1962, to Percy Hart Mcgary and Jennifer Rodgers-Cambridge.

Eloise was raised in Youngstown/Warren, OH. She graduated from The Rayen Highschool, and also attended college. The most thing she loved to do was spending time with her grandchildren and traveling. She also was the President of the “Ice Cold M/C”, of Youngstown, and was known as “Lo 2 the ground”. She also loved to cook and spent 25+ years working in the culinary industry.

Eloise was known for being bold and outspoken. She never let anything or anyone get in her way no matter what. She was a partner and crime at all times. She was one of a kind.

Eloise is survived by her beloved children l, Vincent McGary (Youngstown) Earl McGary (Warren) Myesha Brogdon (Youngstown) Maiki Brogdon (Warren) Michael Brogdon (Warren) Marsaye Williamson (Tennessee); her siblings, Elaine Briggs (Columbus)Joesph Cambridge(Indiana) Monica Cambridge (Youngstown) Michele Cambridge (New York) Rachel Cambridge (Pennsylvania) and Carol, her grandchildren,Vinnasia Mcgary, Earl McGary jr, Vincent Mcgary Jr., Ikea Brogdon, Isaiah Lake ,Michael Brogdon Jr , Eamon Mcgary and Makhi Taylor and host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Eloise is preceded in death by her, mother and father Percy Hart McGary and Jennifer Rodgers-Cambridge; her grandparents, Janin & Andrew McGary; her great grandparents Ida & Clyde Woodridge, grandparents Haywood Rodgers Sr and Dorthy Mills. Aunts Sandy Rodgers-Logan and Jackie Golden; her uncle, Haywood Rodgers Jr, and a cousin Keith Jordan.

A homegoing celebration service will be held 12:00 P.M. Monday January 29, 2024 at F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 11:00 to 12:00 P.M. before the service.
