Harriet A. Little- Services will be held Saturday October 10, 2015 at 10 am, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church for Harriet Agnes Little, 91, who departed this life Tuesday October 6, 2015, at Park Vista Retirement Community. Mrs. Little was born July 17, 1924, a daughter of John Henry and Agnes Tolliver Branch. She was the first black manager for Loblaw's & A&P stores, a member of the church, sang in the choir, and was a Sunday school teacher,  President of Christian education, and President of the deaconess board, She was a Mary Kay Cosmetic Representative for 10 years and owner and operator of Branch's Millinery. Harriet's husband, whom she married on May 4, 1946, died on March 26,1989. She leaves a son, Kenneth Little of Miami; a sister: Naomi Urbina of Slate Hill, NY, a daughter-n-law: Leveeda Muhannad of Lancaster; her caregiver, Ernest M. Hight of Youngstown; grand-daughters Lateefah Thomas, Rasheeda Muhammad both of Austintown, and Maria Skeels of Los Angeles; grandsons: Robert A. Muhammad of Austintown and Najee Muhammad of Barberton, 4 great-grandchildren; best friends Helen Adams of Vero Beach, Fla., Delores Murphy and Helen Jackson, both of Youngstown; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in by her parents; 2 sons, Douglas Little and Robert O. Muhammad, 2 sisters; Betty L. Morrison and Bertha E. Davis and 3 brothers; Willie H., John H., and James A. Branch. Friends may call from 9 to 10 am, Saturday, at the church.
