Heywood Pullen Jr-Funeral service will be 12 noon on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., for Mr. Heywood Pullen Jr, 68, Youngstown, departed this life on  Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at his residence after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Pullen was born August 14, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio, a son of Heywood and Mallie House- Pullen Sr. Heywood was a graduate of Roth High School in Dayton and Sinclair College. He worked at General Fireproofing, JJC, and WU Services. He attended Christian Love Missionary Baptist Church. Heywood leaves his wife, the former Betty Jean Brown, whom he married April 25, 1985, his children; Toni (Cedric) Pullen- Irvin, Aaron Reid, Twanda Poole, Kevin Pullen Sr., Heywood Cunningham-Pullen, Charles Michael Pullen, and step-son; Clinton "Mookie" Brown, 10 grandchildren, including Kevin Pullen Jr. whom he reared, and  5 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings; Charles and Harold Pullen. Friends may call from 11 am to 12 noon on Thursday, at the funeral home.
