James Stevenson Jr.- Funeral services will be at noon on Tuesday October 27, 2015 at the F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. for Mr. James Stevenson Jr., 77, who departed this life Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Northside Medical Center. Mr. Stevenson was born July 11, 1938 in Youngstown, a son of James & Evelyn M. Johnson Stevenson Sr. He worked for Republic Steel and was a Navy veteren. He leaves his wife, the former Carol Ware, whom he married September 2, 1988: Step-children, Lamar C. (Tianna) Ware and LaTosha Ware all of Youngstown; siblings; Roger (Nora) Alexander of Champion, Faye Wade of Boardman, Larry (Amy) Alexander, Marilyn Williams and Delores Williams, all of Youngstown, a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, James Stevenson III., a sister, Loretta Gilbert; and brother, John Alexander; and a grandson Deonta Walker.
