Jinney L (Talley) Lindsey

On June 3, 2024, Jinney Lindsey entered eternal rest at St. Elizabeth Health Center. 

Mrs. Lindsey  was born on December 17, 1956, to the union of James and Louise Talley, in Luverne, Alabama, Jinney made Youngstown, Ohio her permanent home. 

A long-time employee of Thornton's and the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley she also enjoyed working at LaFrance Dry Cleaners for many years. Jinney loved the Lord and also loved to go to church. 

An amazing and loving mother to her only daughter, Geanine Talley, who's lived in Columbus, Ohio for the past 26 years. Geanine spent many hours traveling the highway to care for her mom and her loving husband, Norris Lake Lindsey, whom she married in October 1997. Along with her daughter and husband, she leaves a sister, Roseanna Talley, and a brother Jason Talley; nephews Devon Culver, Troy (Shanika) Davis, Jameral, and Javaughn Talley; sister-in-law D’Vorolyn Murphy Talley; and special cousin Antwan (Nookie) Guss. 

Jinney was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Rachel P. Talley, and her brother Jim Talley Jr. 

A homegoing celebration service will be held 12:00 P.M. Monday June 10, 2024 at F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home where a visitation from 11:00 to 12:00 followed by the service.
