Karone S Rivers

 Karone Samone Rivers, 46 of Youngstown, transitioned this early life on December 25, 2024, at her residence.

Karone was born October 26, 1978, and the daughter of Jeannette (Rivers) Hughey and David Brooks along with stepfather Mark Hughey.

Karone attended South High School with a passion for doing hair. She worked as and aid for several healthcare facilities.

She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, spending time with her children and grandkids. She had joy of being around the ones she loved the most and the ones who showed her great love in return. Karone had a smile that would brighten up anyone’s day. Her smile brought a ray of sunshine to any room. Karone had a one-of-a-kind smile.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother Jeannette (rivers) Hughey, 7 children Thomas Bailey, Nautica Rivers, Sir’Taizhia Johnson, Sir’Rayah Johnson, Sir’Ceaha Johnson, Aniya Garner, Terron Jones , 14 grandchildren , Da’mauri, Tyron, Kamari, Elaina, Niy’leah, Nevaeh, Tayden, Raymere, Raylynn, Tomiya, Da’lani, Ka’lani , A’Rayah and Tristan, A brother, Darrell Thorton jr, A niece Ma’Liyah, 2 nephews Darrell & Jayceon, A aunt Michele Rivers, and A host of family and Friends.

She was preceded in death by her great grandmother Mary Rivers, Grandmother Janith Boykin, and Uncles Raymond and Hoslie Rivers .

A time of gathering to honor Karone’s life will be held on Thursday January 9, 2025 , Visitation and calling hours are at 11:00 am and services will be Immediately after at 12:00 pm ,This will all take place at the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 511 W. Rayen Ave , Youngstown , Ohio 44502
