I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts and your wonderful memories will give you some relief during this difficult time.

"To the family of Miss Oliver I offer my condolence during your time of loss, the passing of a loved one is one of the most difficult realities we ever face. May God be your comfort and strength with hope from His Word. 1 Peter 5:6,7, John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:4 have all helped during my times of loss, I pray they will benefit you all as well."

Oliver Family

We, the Pastor, Officers and Congregation of Oak Missionary Baptist Church offer our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences on the passing of Sister Linda Ray Oliver.

From the pain of the flesh, we must let go and humbly submit to our Creator and Sustainer who has seen fit to call our sister home. But in our spirit, we can shout Halleluiah for she has completed her assignment and is on her journey home.
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building
of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 Corinthians 5:1
Be confident, knowing; to be absent from the body (is) to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8a
We look forward to that Great Gettin' Up Morning when we shall see our beloved sister again.

There will be no more pain, suffering or crying. For the Word says, And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelation 21:4

Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
