Lorenzo Young

Lorenzo "LO" Young-Memorial services will be held Saturday, 10 am, at the F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., for  Mr. Lorenzo "Lo" Young, 72,Youngstown, departed this life Saturday, January 13, 2018, in Akron City Hospital. 

Mr. Young was born January 12, 1946, in Montgomery, AL., the son of Lawrence and Ada Hamilton Young. He was a 1965 South High School and YSU graduate. He was a God fearing man, a member of Rising Star Baptist Church and later joined Haven of Rest Ministries in Akron.  He worked for US Steel, was an avid Cleveland sports enthusiast, and  enjoyed working with children. He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, 2 daughters; Angel Cash and Dawn Hilton of Youngstown, 2 sons; Lorenzo Hilton of New Jersey and Keith Jones of Wilmington Delaware, 25 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, sisters;  Cynthia F. (Floyd) Davis, and  Janet Young (Steve) Gardner  and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, brothers; Edward and Isaiah, grandsons; Hylan Cash, and LaQuan Hilton. Friends may call from 9 am to 10 am at the funeral home
