Maurice Hasley

Mr. Maurice Hasley, 36, of Youngstown, Ohio, transitioned from this earthly labor to his heavenly home on June 3, 2025, at home.

Maurice was a wonderful father who loved his two beautiful daughters Mauriah, and Ma'Kenzie Hasley with all his heart and soul. Along with his love were his brother's and sister's. Victor Thomas, Ivan Hasley, Roberta Robinson, April Hasley, Carmen Hasley, Nate Hasley, Marquise Hasley, Brandon Hasley, Shawn Hasley, Anthony Chilton and Shaneisha Chilton and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

To meet Maurice was a joy to anyone because he would always put a smile on your face.

He was a comedian by his own right, because making people laugh was his thing... He had a caring heart full of love for everyone.

Here is a little message from Maurice to his family: Hey y'all I'm sorry that I didn't take my health a little more serious but I just wanted to say, I'm in a better place even though I'm not with y'all anymore, I'm with y'all in your hearts, so, when I pop up in your minds, smile, don't cry cause that's what I want for you to do smile and know that I am at peace no more pain and when you feel that wetness up on your forehead it is me giving you a kiss, I love y'all. Until we meet again..Maurice..

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Hasley, Father Herbert Davis-Murphy. Great Grandmother Tena M. Green, Grandmother Freddie L. Hasley, Grandfather Nathaniel Hasley, Uncle Nathaniel Hasley, Aunt Felicia Mullins, Cousin Kieth Wade, Niece Adreionna Hasley, and Cousin Janet Hasley and so much more to add to this list.

A homegoing celebration will be held 1:00 P.M Thursday, June 12, 2025 at F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home there will be a visitation with the family from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. at the the funeral home.
