Nicole Monique Adams

Nicole M. Adams- Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday, at the Greater Friendship Baptist Church for Ms. Nicole Monique Adams, 34, who received her wings on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on September 14, 1983 in Youngstown, Ohio. She is the daughter of Carmella Adams and Derrick Atkinson. She was a childhood member of Greater Friendship Baptist Church, and later attended Fifth Avenue Community Church. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School and obtained her Nursing Assistant Certification.  Nicole was a loving mother, a caring friend, and overall a realist. Nicole loved her family deeply and was the reflection of light in everyone life. She was very spiritually awakened, and maintained a very close and intimate relationship with God. She touched many people with her beautiful spirit and giving heart. Nicole was a woman of many talents; a true artist. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and most importantly writing.     

She leaves to cherish her memories and grace with her mother Carmella Adams-Hymes and step-father Patrick Hymes. Her great grandmother Mary P. Allen; grandparents; Rosilee Adams and Forrest Adams Sr., Her beloved children Nauje Monique Adams, DaNya Nicole Wallace, Nijah LaNiece Adams, and Col’de Ny’Shun Adams. She leaves behind three siblings, her younger sister LaNiece Adams, two brothers, Robin Briggs and Chris Thomas Williams. Nicole also leaves behind a host of aunts, Anita Gibson, Sonji Atkinson, Crystal Adams, and Aunt Evelyn. Uncles, Forrest Adams Jr., Kevin Dunn, Richard Atkinson. Cousins, Danielle Gibson, Alexis Evans, Keiante Mackie, Olivia Atkinson, Ashia Evans, Galen Hobdy, Lamar Evans Roberts, Latoya Sadler, Shaya Sommerville and many friends. Friends may call from 11 am to 12 noon Friday at the church.
