Omar Rasheed Croom

Omar R. Croom- Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday March 23, 2016, at the New Vision New Day Church for Mr. Omar Rasheed Croom, 22,  who departed this life on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Mr. Croom was born March 26, 1993, in Youngstown, a son of Willie Smith and Angela Croom Young. He was a dancer for Liberty Tax and an advertiser for Saku Japanese. He also attended Youngstown State University and Eastern Gateway Community College. He leaves his parents, 2 sisters; LaTora Young and LaQwonda Mitchell, all of Youngstown, 4 brothers, Qwenton Williams of Newport News, Va., Earl P. Price of Younstown, Kevin and Curtis Smith, both of Portland, Maine. He was loved by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilma Croom and Sydney Ivey; great-grandparents; Reverend L. C. and Eva Ivey; and a niece RaNija Lynch. Donations may be sent to the F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home Inc. Friends may call from 12 noon to 1 pm on Wednesday at the church.
