Rev James Fuller

Rev. James Fuller- Funeral service will be 1 pm, Friday, May 17, 2019, at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, at 2944 Wardel Ave., 44505, for Mr. James Fuller, 82, of Youngstown, departed this life on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at his home. 

Mr. Fuller also known as Rev. Fuller was born Sept. 7, 1936 in Mulga, Alabama, a son of Robert and Evanna Porter Fuller. James was a former Prize Fighter ,was a steelworker for LTV Steel, trained and worked as a certified Master Baker, licensed ordained minister by the late Pastor Wilson of St. Peters Baptist Church, a security guard where for a time was one of the oldest Ohioans licensed to carry a firearm to name a few of his many skills and accomplishments. James was a proud member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He leaves his wife of 40 years; Mary (Robinson) Fuller, son; Jeffery (Mae) Fuller, grand-daughter; Ashley Simon and grand-son; Jeffrey Fuller the 2nd, Jammie Ferrell, great- grandchildren; Nala Goncalves, Jacey Ferrell, JaeVeion Fuller, siblings; Mary Chamber, Mattie (Roy) Powell, Eva McNickles, Paul (Sharon) Fuller, family, church family and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Robert, John, George, Obie, and step-son; Raymond Robinson. Friends may call from 12 noon to 1 pm on Friday at the church.
