Robernetta Jean Harvey

Robernette J. Harvey-Services will be held Saturday September 5, 2015 at Union Baptist Church for Mrs Robernette Jean Harvey, 83, Youngstown who departed this life on Sunday August 30, 2015 in St Elizabeth Hospital. She was born March 3, 1932 to the Reverend David & Sarah Woods Long in Youngstown . She was a Registered Nurse for the Youngstown Hospital Association (Forum Health). She was a member of Union Baptist Church and a former member of New Bethel and Holy Trinity Baptist Churches where she served as a former Sunday School Teacher,Vacation Bible School Director Chair. She was also a former Campfire Girl Lady and a Cub Scout Den Mother. She was also a part of the Ohio Nurses' Association. She was a graduate of YSU where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter; Terri L. Watkins of Hampton, VA, a son; Reverend Kenneth A. Harvey of Youngstown, , a brother; John (Gwen) Walker, of Struthers ohio, 16 grandchildren , 16 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son; Charles E. Harvey, Elijah Tate Long, Clyde Long, Lorenza Long, Bessie Hill and Sophrenia King. Calling hours will be Friday,  from 6 to 8 at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the funeral Saturday. Arrangements were entrusted to F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home.
