Roberta Stanford- Funeral services will be 12 noon on Tuesday June 28, 2016, at the F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., for Mrs. Roberta Stanford, 91, Boardman, who departed this life on Thursday June 16, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Stanford was born October 12, 1925, in Dublin, GA., a daughter of Elder & Ellen Butler Taylor. She was a chef and caterer, enjoyed playing cards, the lotto, and the race track, and other various games and loved to talk about the family heritage.  Her husband, Archie Stanford, Sr., who she married in 1945, died February 22, 1997. She leaves her children: Archie (Darlene) Sanford, Jr., and Rose Hooks, Marilyn Miller, Diane Hooks, and Jackie Miller; 5 sons-in-law; 3 sisters:  Wilma Nash, Arrow and JoAnn Taylor, a host of granchildren, including Archie Stanford, III and Tia T. Stanford; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; 4 children: Donna Jean Haskin, Marvin, Melvin, and William Cook, 7 sisters, 2 brothers, and 2 sons-in-law.
