Sarah J. Giles-Nelson- Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at 11 am, at Victory Lutheran Church, 2110 Glenwood Ave, for Mrs. Sarah Jean Giles-Nelson, 90, Youngstown, who departed this life on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Omni Manor Nursing Home. Sarah was born November 10, 1925, in Birmingham, Alabama, a daughter of Robert and Lula Stringer Morris. She was a graduate of The Rayen High School and a beloved member of Victory Lutheran Church of Youngstown, Ohio. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Sara  was a giving person with a big heart often volunteering her time to work with the Heart Foundation, Red Cross and the Salvation Army feeding the homeless. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Bryan Giles of Canton, Ohio, 3 grandchildren, Bryan Giles Jr., Sharesse Nicole Andrews, and Sonya Michelle Mitchell; a sister, Grammer Wall, a lifelong friend Emma Gibson, and many well thoughts of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, a son Gary E. "Tojo" Giles and husband Elite Nelson; a sister, Eloise Gletcher and a special aunt, Mary McLlroy.
