Zera Pelater Hunter

Zera P. Hunter-Funeral service will be held  12 noon, Friday, September 29, 2017, at Union Baptist Church for Mrs. Zera P. Hunter, 88, Youngstown, who departed this life on Saturday, September 23, 2017, in Oasis Center for Rehabilitation and Healing.

 Mrs. Hunter was born December 8, 1928, in Evergreen, Alabama, a daughter of Mancel and Girther Padgett Hubert. She was a Social worker for the Mahoning County Job & Family Services, retiring after 40 years of services. She was a member of the church and it's Nurses Guild and Usher Board. Her husband Willie Hunter, whom she married in 1965, died in 1984. She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Julius Riley, Yulinda Weaver, Bernadette Hunter, and Priscilla Norris Brown all of Youngstown, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Huebbie Hubert and a sister, Omadee Curry. Friends may call from 11 am to 12 noon at the church.
